The Kalia yojana was launched by the Odisha government in December 2018. This scheme was started with the aim of providing benefit to small and medium farmers in the Odisha state. the farmers of Odisha state will be provided many benefits under this scheme.

And also, the farmers who do not own any land of their own they will be provided extra benefits. The farmers will also get the 5000 rupees incentive.

Kalia Yojana Objective

As we know that in India 58% of population is still dependent on agricultural work for their livelihood. And the agricultural section is dependent on environment. So sometimes farmers surer a lot financially. And even the farmer’s monthly income is very low which is not enough for their livelihood and children’s education, so that is why the Odisha government started this Kalia yojana to provide benefit to the state’s farmers. government also provide loans to the farmers so that they can afford to educate their children.

Total Budget of the Scheme

Firstly, the total amount of Rs 5115 crore was sanctioned by the government in the year 2018 December for the farmers. In this amount the 1000 crore is only for the to get rid farmers with their Debt trap. And Rs. 3195 crores had been sanctioned by the government for the year 2020-2021.

Cultivation Assistance

All the small and marginal farmers of Odisha state will be provided the financial assistance per family of 25000 rupees for about 5 seasons. Means each season Rs 5000 rupees financial assistance will be provide to the farmers so that they can buy the fertilizers, pesticides and other useful things related to farming.

Livelihood Assistance

The SC and ST category will be given the priority under this Kalia yojana. Financial assistance of Rs. 12500 per household will be given to the farmers who do not own any land of their own. The agricultural associated activities such as Duckery units, goat rearing units, bee keeping, mini layer units, mushroom cultivation, fishery kits for fishermen etc. will be provided this financial assistance.

Kalia Yojana Features

The farmers will be provided 5000 rupees of incentive.
Beneficiary will get the amount directly credited to their bank accounts.
Beneficiary will get 25000 rupees of financial assistance.
12500 rupees will be given annually to the landless farmers.
Rs. 2 lakhs at a premium of 12 rupees will also be given to the beneficiaries as an accidental coverage.
Beneficiaries will get insurance of Rs. 2lakh at a premium payment of Rs. 330.

E-KYC Procedure Under Kalia Yojana

Click on the Kalia yojana official website.
Then, click on the complete your e-KYC option.
Enter your Aadhar card number.
Tap on verify.
Take declaration.
Then, in the new page fill the OTP.
You will receive this OTP on your phone number which will be linked with Aadhaar number.
Click on submit option.

Permanent resident of Odisha.
Must belonged to small or marginal farmer category.
Must have valid current working account in bank.
Should not be a tax payer.
Should falls under bpl category.
If working under PSU department or state or central govt then not eligible.

Go to the official website.
Click on the option beneficiary list.
In the new page, fill the details about your district and block name.
Then, click on the button called search.
Then download the pdf file.
Here, you can easily search your name in the beneficiary list.

Login Procedure of Kalia Yojana

Open the Kalia yojana official website.
Then in the homepage, click on login option.
Here, click on login.
Enter your user id and password.
Also enter the captcha code.
Then, click on submit option.

Here, click on track your application.
Fill the token number.
Then, click on the check application status option.

Refund Application

Go to the official website.
Go to the menu bar, Click on the form option.
Choose option refund application.
Here, the pdf file will open. You need to click on the download.
After this take a printout of it and then fill it manually.
Once you are done will form filling then submit it to the PACS/GP office.

Click on the upload documents for self- registered farmer’s option.
Enter your Aadhaar number.
Click on show.
Here, upload the required documents.
Then, click on the option submit.

Kalia Yojana Online Grievance Application Form

Go to the Kalia yojana official website.
Click option online grievance application form.
Then, click on proceed option.
Here, click yes.
Then, fill your Aadhaar card number.
Then, enter the details while will be asked to fill.
Click on submit option.
And your token number will be automatically generated. You will get need to this token in future so keep it save.

Grievance Status Check Procedure

Then, click on the track your application.
Enter your token and Aadhaar card number.
Click on show.
And you will be able to see the grievance status.
