This scheme is launched to Waive the Electricity Bill of UP State Citizens. Under this scheme, the citizens of the state only have to pay the bill of 200 rupees. and if the electricity bill is less than 200 rupees then they have to pay only the original bill.

The citizens of small town and small villages people will be provided the benefit of UP Bijli Bill Mafi Scheme. and that if only when the citizen uses only one tube light, tv and fan. If a person uses more than 1000 watts heater or AC then they cannot take the benefit of UP Bijli Bill Mafi Scheme. About 1,70 crores citizen’s electricity bill will be waived through this scheme.

UP Bijli Bill Mafi Yojana Eligibility
- Only the citizens of UP State are eligible to apply for this UP Bijli Bill Mafi yojana.
- The applicants who use more than 1000-watt AC, or heater, they all are not eligible to apply under this scheme.
- The applicants who use only one tube light, TV and one Fan will be given the benefit of this scheme.
- The households who use only two kilowatt or below two-kilowatt electricity meter will be given the benefit of this scheme.
- Only the people who lives in rural areas and small town will be provided the benefit under this scheme.
